Mascara

Spend!

Anastasia BH is great for a full luxury lash look. Nice thick brush that covers all the lashes nicely with easy application. My lashes stayed up nicely all day. Bit of a spend at £26, but I love it!

Budget!

Primark’s False Lash Queen is an absolutely amazing mascara for the price. Apparently a Dupe for a certain Sky High mascara, the brush is a nice thickness and applies to the lashes easily. Highly recommend for a STEAL of a price at £5! Definitely a favorite of mine!

Concealers

Two options for me...

We have Tarte Shape Tape which I am currently using on my clients. Great application, smooth and blends out nicely. Excellent shade range aswell. I’m loving it right now! Prices might put you off a bit at around £28.

Another expensive one here with the KVD Good Apple concealer, but once you see the pay off, you will be happy too! Nice application again from the small doe foot applicator. Blends out like a dream. Coverage is great too. Good shade range and I’ve found a price of £23.

Primers

For lower budgets…

So many wonderful reviews on the Elf primer! Nice texture, covers pores and has a great tacky feel to it to hold the foundation more on the skin! A fabulous price at only £10. BARGAIN!

For High End…

Now this may be expensive for most, although you can often get the mini’s for a great price, but the Bobbie Brown Vitamin E Face Base is pure luxury with the price tag to go with it! I have frequently used it for my clients. It completely hydrates the skin, holds foundation and makes skin feel soft and subtle. Mini’s can be up to £20, but the 50ml larger option is a whopping £54!

Foundations

Mac foundation has always been a favourite of mine! I not only have it in my kit for clients, but also use it every time I wear makeup myself! I love it. Smooth and blends out nicely. No heaviness or cakey application. Very popular in the makeup community and highly favourable with myself!!! A bit more expensive than my other favourite below but reasonable price still of £34.

Miliani is a great drug store foundation. And if you like a good coverage, the Miliani Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 is for you! A bit thicker than the Mac as it’s both foundation and concealer, but still blends out a dream and coverage is good with even more build up with each application. Great if you don’t have concealer or you’re in a rush but need that coverage.  Highly recommend aswell! Just under half the price of the Mac, at £15.50!
